We had a nightmare of a bamboo situation. Neighbor’s giant timber bamboo had overgrown into our yard, turning into a tangled mess under my decking, even puncturing my turf and attempting to break through my composite decking. Hired Joe and his team to remove the bamboo, which ended up being a hefty job and a week-long process. I also hired to demo and remove the old decking and install new decking. The team was very thorough in the removal process, and did a great job with the composite deck replacement. Reasonable pricing too! Highly recommend Bamboo Grove for both bamboo removal and deck installation.

I've just finished a complete overhaul of my backyard space with Bamboo Grove and I could not be happier! Every single square inch of my space has been updated and Joe and his team have officially taken my backyard from a largely non-sensible space to what feels like a Malibu oasis. He had creative solves for the tricky existing layout - figuring out how to fully enclose the space with a fence and custom gate, hiding my neighbor's unsightly adjacent shed structure, removing some big dying trees, and building a beautiful deck over some unusable concrete. I appreciate Joe's creativity in coming up with solves that would transform the space and work within my budget. The crew was absolutely lovely to have around and cleaned up nicely each day before leaving. I'm thrilled with the final result and would wholeheartedly recommend Bamboo Grove to anyone looking to take on a project like this!

Amazing experience the whole way through! Joe was very responsive right away with quotes and scheduling, made it an easy decision to decide to work with him. I had seen another project they had done in neighborhood and the quality was fantastic so we knew we were in good hands. Joe’s crew was very respectful with our property and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They were also really nice and surprisingly quiet for the type of work. I had one minor concern during the installation but Joe was quick to respond to my concerns and reassure me all was good and it was. I personally felt the price was good for the amount of work and after seeing the finish, I think the price is extremely good for the quality of work. I also had a very specific design in mind and Joe didn’t try to talk me out of it, he instead worked closely with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Thank you Bamboo Grove! You guys are awesome!

We had a great experience with our fence - from design to execution to follow up. Friendly, professional, and the end product gets plenty of compliments. It wasn't inexpensive, but also felt we needed to pay for quality and expertise. We needed this to last longer than our previous fence, which was good for only a few years. Highly recommend.

Revised: see original post below: Attempted several times to have Bamboo and it's owner to come and check out the gate. Approximately 1 year after installation the gates didn't line up. Not a huge deal but noticed the hinges were awkward and the misalignment was worse when it rained. We started to get complaints from tenants and visitors of how hard it was to open the gates. After we realized Bamboo would not come back (even after stating they would) we had a professional fence repair person come out. He said it was installed incorrectly and the gate was too heavy for the type of hinges used. I placed some shims, replaced a hinge and put a brick to support the opposite gate as a temporary fix. Also the gate attachments were not correct (see pics). I will not review a company until the work done has had some time to settle. I regret recommending Bamboo to many of my clients and friends. The Bamboo crew did great work on our beautiful fence. They confirmed the design several times and before any major work was started they checked in again. Kept the place clean and were just nice people overall. A few hiccups but we got through it together.
